The Silent Treatment
Okay, fair enough.
I know I haven't been posting and there are reasons for this. It's not that there isn't enough going on in my life to write about. Frankly, there's too much. But I've been focusing on things other that writing.
One of my duties this year has involved a lot of teaching and lecturing. By November I had, frankly, grown quite tired of hearing my voice and seeing my writing. Additionally, trying to teach things, I became acutely aware of my own gaps in knowledge, so that has required more late night reading.
The past few months, things have been rather complicated. I did indeed get a fellowship and-unexpectedly-one that starts in two months, rather than the 14 months I was expecting. So I've been scrambling to make the move.
So sorry, but there it is.
So I'll be touch and go for a while.

Good luck on the internship. I'm sure you'll do great. And try to get some rest. Hope we hear from you soon, Doc...

We'll be almost-neighbors so it will all have been worth it, since your long-term plan is obviously to do whatever gets you incrementally closer to dan.
